Siltaneva – Teuva

Winda Energy is planning a wind farm in Siltaneva, Teuva. The project area is initially approximately 1150 hectares in size, located in the northern part of Teuva near the border with Kurikka. Preliminary plans include around 8-9 wind turbines for the area. The exact number and placement of turbines will be specified through discussions with landowners and the zoning process. In addition to zoning, an environmental impact assessment procedure (EIA) will be conducted for the area.

Schedule and location

The project schedule will be updated as the project development progresses.

  • 12/2023 – Zoning initiative approved
  • 5/2024 – EIA program published for comments
  • 8/2024 – Feedback on the EIA program and the participation and assessment scheme (PAS) received. The feedback will be considered in the preparation of the EIA report and the draft plan.
