Winda Energy is planning a wind park in Kääpäsuo, Pudasjärvi. The project area is preliminarily approximately 3300 hectares and is located in the western part of Pudasjärvi, about 14 km west of the town center. Approximately 25-30 wind turbines are tentatively planned for the area. The final number and placement of turbines will be specified through discussions with landowners and the zoning process. In addition to zoning, an environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure will be carried out for the area.
