Tuomas Hooli, CEO of Winda Energy Oy (“Winda”), is stepping down from his role and will continue with the company as a member of the board. Anette Danielsson, who has been responsible for new business development and commercial agreements at Winda, has been appointed interim CEO.

Hooli has led Winda for a little over five years. The change has been carefully prepared together with the board, and the transfer of responsibilities has been concluded during October. On the board, Hooli will continue to support the execution of the company’s strategy and growth.

Danielsson has over seven years of experience in the energy industry. She knows the company’s business, customers and projects thoroughly. Under her leadership, Winda will continue with its confirmed strategy.

Michal Prause, Chair of the Board, thanks Hooli for his work as Winda’s CEO. “During his tenure, the company has built four wind farms and several energy storage projects, and expanded into the development of solar power projects and data centers. We are pleased that Hooli will continue on the board. Danielsson’s experience and knowledge of the company provide a strong foundation for the work ahead.“
